From: Moretti Transparents Inspired?We are essentially a glass flameworking / kiln studio in one half of the building and a gallery of all kinds of masterpieces in the other half. We feature local Indiana artists as well as some of the bigger names in the art of glass: Davidé Salvidoré, Richard Ritter, Paul Stankard, Mark Pieser, Lucio Bubacco, Césare Toffolo, among others. The idea is to create a dynamic environment where creativity and local talent form new ideas, where art and glass meet to form a special bond. Glass and art?Glass and artwork work well together. It was also a chance for a lot of local artists to have their work showcased. Our gallery promotes the local art community, which provides people traveling out of state (or even local people) a chance to get a good taste of the local art unique to here in Lafayette, Indiana.
